Cancun,Mexico – 2017

If this is your first time in Cancun , here are some great tourist spots, if you like hiking and water activities. This is my second time in Cancun and definitely will be back in the near future. After checking -in at my hotel, I had planned  4 activities that I wanted to accomplish but wasn’t able to during my first visit….

1- Tulum Ruins

Tulum is a resort town on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, around 130 km south of Cancún.

The 13th-century, walled Mayan archaeological site at Tulum National Park overlooks the sea. It incorporates the clifftop Castillo, built as a watchtower, and the Templo de las Pinturas, with a partially restored mural. Inland, the Cobá archaeological site has pyramid-shaped temples with views over the surrounding jungle.

2-COBA Ruins -Tulum

This ancient Mayan site is about two hours and half from Cancun, and is different from the other archaeological big sites in Yucatan. First of all, it’s situated by four natural lakes, which is a rare sight in the Yucatan. These lakes are believed to have given the city its name, which means “Waters stirred by wind”. Furthermore, it is not as excavated nor reconstructed as Chichen Itza or Tulum. Coba still has a number of big structures covered with the growth of the jungle, making it a wild place that truly triggers your imagination. It doesn’t see nearly as many visitors as Chichen Itza or Tulum and if you’re early you might be all by yourself with only birds, monkeys and the dense jungle to accompany you at these mystical ruins.

3- Cenote “Tankach-Ha”

Combine visits to top archaeological sites with swimming in a beautiful cenote on this full-day tour from Cancun. … Cool off with a refreshing swim at the underground natural pool….

4 – Aqua World

It was an amazing experience riding on a speed boat at 240Mhp with a spin on a nice Lagoon

People says ” life is to short not to enjoy life ” so every chance I get I enjoy life ….
